An advanced in-person professional course in iPhone and Android hardware and software, built around intensive hands-on work on boards and live devices.

Overview

Professional Training is designed for technicians with daily field experience who need advanced electronics foundations, soldering, schematics, circuits, and practical work on iPhone and Android devices.

Target Audience

Technicians with at least two years of daily work experience in a repair shop, service center, or authorized service environment.

Methodology

Intensive theory and hands-on practice to understand boards and analyze faults instead of memorizing quick fixes.
Outstanding trainees may bring real devices and boards to work on under the supervision of Engineer Omar and his assistants.

Curriculum

Foundations and schematics

Electronic foundations: component functions and operation, inspection, measurement, and confident use of a multimeter.
Soldering foundations, from equipment calibration to removing, reballing, and refitting conventional ICs.
Introduction to schematics, general IC theory, and internal and external communication protocols.
Schematics and circuits: power, charging, backlight, data, touch, cameras, audio, and cellular networks.

Advanced soldering and practical analysis

Removing and cleaning single-layer processors and memory on Android boards, and protected ICs on iPhone boards.
Board and processor drilling and restoring missing traces.
Hands-on work on a two-layer processor: removal, reballing, and refitting.
Reballing iPhone sandwich boards and modern Android boards.
Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and logic-circuit analysis equipment, with practical exercises.
Internal memory faults and how to distinguish them from processor faults using power-supply current patterns and software tools.

Prerequisites

At least two years of daily work in a repair shop, service center, or authorized service facility.
Professional equipment in your own workshop, such as a microscope, 5 A power supply, Quick hot-air station, and micro soldering iron, so you can practise after training.
Watch some of Engineer Omar Monea’s videos beforehand to check that his teaching style suits you.
Be prepared for intensive theory and practical work. This is not a course for memorizing a couple of faults or quick fixes.

Duration & Schedule

Duration

4 weeks in person, every day except Friday, 6–10 hours per day. Full availability throughout the month is required.

Schedule

Training starts at 12 noon, with prayer breaks and a 30-minute meal break without reducing the core training time.

Giza — opposite Giza Metro Station — Al Haram tunnel — after Eastern Tobacco Company on your right, before Nasr El Din Mosque — Nasr El Din Towers, Al Nasr Tower 2, above Al Waha Pharmacy — sixth floor above ground. The building has two lifts. YallaMobile Center — Engineer Omar Monea.

What's Available Inside the Academy

Only 15 trainees, with 15 equipped repair desks. Each trainee has a personal desk and equipment during training and uses the latest equipment available at the academy. Equipment in your own workshop is required for continued practice after training.

Practice Boards Supplied by the Trainee

Trainees supply their own practice boards. Expect to need around 5–10 boards depending on the exercises, condition, and availability. Contact the office on WhatsApp for sourcing details.

A hard black protected board such as older Oppo or Realme boards.
A transparent gelatin-protected board such as Samsung A-series boards.
A two-layer processor board, any model, preferably T585 school tablet, Poco X3 Pro, Samsung A50, or A51.
An iPhone sandwich board from iPhone X or later.

One iPhone sandwich board is sufficient. Bring several boards with hard black and transparent gel protection for repeated practice.
Boards do not need to be fully functional, but they must not have undergone previous repairs or had their shields removed. Tests compare power-supply current draw before and after the work.
If you cannot source the boards, the office can contact a board supplier to arrange a trainee order at reduced prices where possible.
You may optionally supply screens for testing after soldering to check the work and board condition.

Policies

Limited to 15 trainees, each with an equipped repair desk during training.
Verbal reservations are not accepted. Contact the office on WhatsApp for reservation details.
Eligibility and the submitted information are reviewed before booking is confirmed.

Housing

We help trainees travelling from outside Cairo find a bed in a shared room with other trainees, subject to availability. This is basic accommodation for sleep and rest after training, not a hotel or luxury housing. Housing is entirely optional and you may arrange your own. Contact the office on WhatsApp for details.

Application Requirements

Payment proof, a copy of your identity card, and your full name.
Repair shop or service center name and work address.
A working contact number and WhatsApp number if different.
Years of experience and your current work.
Supply the required practice boards at your own expense.

Is the training suitable for someone who only wants to learn specific faults?

This is a professional training with extensive practical work, theory, study, and effort; it is not suitable for someone who only wants to learn two faults.
